Case Study: MirioDev Content Featured in Google AI Overview

Observed results following the development of an informational ecosystem focused on SEO, GEO, digital authority and AI Trust

mirgai.png

MirioDev.ro was officially launched between August and September 2023 as an independent entrepreneurial project dedicated to web design, digital development and online optimisation.

At the time of launch, the website did not benefit from:

• previously established digital authority;

• dedicated promotional budgets;

• proprietary media visibility;

• an extensive backlink infrastructure;

• an editorial ecosystem dedicated to AI or generative search.

The website effectively started from zero.

However, the professional context behind Mirio does not begin in 2023.

Professional activity in digital marketing, communication and commercial development has continued without interruption since June 2007, within the SpatiulConstruit.ro team, a specialised platform dedicated to construction, architecture and related industries.

Mirio Development did not emerge as a theoretical experiment or as a project built exclusively around a recent trend.

It represented the natural evolution of experience accumulated through nearly two decades of real activity in:

• digital marketing;

• communication;

• web projects;

• commercial development;

• content;

• B2B relationships;

• online development for active companies.

In parallel with ongoing activity within SpatiulConstruit.ro, Mirio was gradually developed as an independent project, initially supported through other sources of income and expanded step by step, without major media investments.

The agency remained continuously active in:

• custom web design;

• website reconstruction;

• SEO optimisation;

• digital audits;

• technical maintenance;

• strategic content;

• web development and optimisation.

The project portfolio and client base continued to grow gradually, while the website consistently functioned as an active platform for services and professional presentation.

image.png

One of the most active components of the website was the blog and educational content section dedicated to digital marketing, SEO and online development.

The blog was not built for volume or mechanical publishing.

It represented the result of an ongoing process of study, analysis and documentation, as well as the desire to provide clients and potential clients with useful explanations about digital reputation, web development, marketing and online visibility.

However, the theme explicitly dedicated to the relationship between:

• SEO;

• GEO;

• AI Trust;

• informational selection;

• AI citability;

• Google AI Overviews

was not yet visible as a distinct editorial focus within Mirio.

This theme only begins to become relevant for Mirio in May 2026.

ACTIVE WEBSITE, BUT WITHOUT A DISTINCT AI EDITORIAL FOCUS

Online success is often associated exclusively with:

• traffic;

• rankings;

• large volumes of content;

• backlinks;

• advertising campaigns.

In reality, these do not automatically guarantee informational selection within AI systems.

At the time the GEO and AI Trust project began to be actively developed, MirioDev had no technical issues.

The website was already:

• active;

• functional;

• optimised;

• accessible for crawling and indexing.

This aspect is extremely important.

The real issue was not the absence of a functional website.

The issue was not the lack of a functional website, but rather the fact that certain themes and explanations relevant to the new AI context were not yet visible within Mirio.

Interpretation

  1. existing foundation

  3. functional agency

  4. strong foundation

  5. absence of a distinct thematic cluster

Mirio already functioned as an active digital agency.

However, the area dedicated to AI citability, digital authority and the relationship between content and AI had not yet developed into a distinct editorial focus.

The technical audit confirmed this.

The website already benefited from:

• a functional crawl infrastructure;

• indexable pages;

• absence of technical errors;

• a stable technical foundation.

Screenshot 2026-06-01 at 19.06.47.png

The later appearance in Google AI Overview cannot be explained by fixing a defective website.

The technical foundation already existed.

The change was going to emerge from a different area.

WHY AI, GEO AND DIGITAL AUTHORITY BECOME RELEVANT FOR MIRIO IN 2026

Although MirioDev.ro was officially launched in 2023 and steadily developed through commercial activity, digital services and educational content, the direction explicitly dedicated to the relationship between SEO, GEO and AI Trust was not implemented immediately.

This chronology is important.

The year 2025 was not dedicated to the accelerated development of a proprietary editorial ecosystem.

It was largely a period of:

• observation;

• analysis;

• testing;

• study;

• adaptation to emerging AI-driven mechanisms of informational selection.

The global context was changing rapidly.

Google was making AI Overviews increasingly visible within search results.

Generative systems such as ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity were beginning to change search behaviour.

In this new context, many traditional SEO practices remained useful, but no longer fully explained why certain sources were increasingly preferred or utilised in AI-generated responses.

Between October 2025 and May 2026, Mirio Development developed and analysed approximately 94 strategic plans dedicated to digital authority and the relationship between content and emerging AI-driven mechanisms of informational selection.

Websites from different sectors were evaluated:

• construction;

• B2B products and services;

• technical companies;

• e-commerce;

• premium services;

• international projects;

• digital development.

The observed conclusion proved recurrent.

Many websites:

• existed online;

• could be found;

• had partially implemented SEO;

Yet they remained difficult for Google and AI systems to utilise informationally.

The problem was not always the absence of content.

More often, it involved:

• incomplete or insufficiently consolidated information;

• fragmented information;

• absence of validation;

• lack of a coherent informational identity.

These observations gradually influenced the development of Mirio’s content as well.

Until May 2026, Mirio functioned as:

• an active agency;

• a service platform;

• an educational blog;

• a commercial portfolio.

However, the relationship between content, digital authority and emerging AI-driven mechanisms of informational selection was not yet visible as a distinct theme within Mirio.

May 2026 marks the moment when this theme begins to become visible within Mirio as well.

THE MIRIO BLOG – THE ACTIVE CORE OF DEVELOPMENT

From the moment the website was launched, the most actively developed area was the Mirio blog.

Mirio Development Blog: https://www.miriodev.ro/blog-marketing-digital

The blog did not function as a secondary section or as a tool for mechanical publishing.

It remained consistently active as a result of continuous study, observation of digital change and the desire to provide clients and potential clients with useful and applicable explanations.

The published content was not limited to general marketing topics.

The blog gradually addressed concrete subjects such as:

• SEO strategies and functional optimisation;

• the differences between technical SEO, content and real visibility;

• web design and digital infrastructure;

• the costs and logic behind website development;

• digital marketing for construction and technical industries;

• online reputation and digital development;

• digital trends and technological change;

• the relationship between content, Google and emerging AI-driven mechanisms of informational selection;

• GEO, AI Mode and the impact of generative search on websites.

The blog was not built as a collection of unrelated articles.

It gradually functioned as:

• a space for documentation;

• a space for analysis;

• a mechanism for understanding and observing digital change.

This activity produced two important effects.

  1. First: it kept the website informationally active and connected to real digital topics.

  2. Second: it created an editorial foundation and publishing discipline that would later become relevant to the emergence of GEO and AI-related themes within Mirio.

Mirio Client Portfolio: https://www.miriodev.ro/en/clienti-mirio

Mirio did not function solely as an editorial laboratory.

The agency remained continuously involved in real projects related to:

• web design;

• website reconstruction;

• SEO optimisation;

• digital development;

• content and online strategy.

This combination of:

• commercial activity;

• practical implementation;

• educational content;

• continuous observation

contributed to the maturation of Mirio’s content and editorial presence.

FROM CONSISTENT DIGITAL ACTIVITY TO A NEW EDITORIAL FOCUS

By the first part of 2026, Mirio already functioned as:

• an active web design and SEO agency;

• a digital services platform;

• an educational blog;

• a commercial portfolio;

• a website with a strong technical foundation.

Activity was never absent.

The website was functional, active and gradually developed.

However, the area dedicated to the relationship between content, digital authority and emerging AI-driven mechanisms of informational selection was not yet visible as a distinct editorial focus within Mirio.

Interest in the relationship between search, content and AI did not emerge suddenly in May 2026.

The period of analysis and adaptation had begun earlier.

Since 2025, Mirio Development had been actively observing the changes driven by generative search and their impact on how information is discovered, interpreted and utilised in the new era of AI systems.

Alongside ongoing client activity, certain emerging themes also began to be evaluated and observed within real projects.

A relevant example is the following project:

Unilux Case Study – SEO, Digital Authority and AI Trust: https://www.miriodev.ro/en/studiu-de-caz-seo-autoritate-digitala-ai-trust-unilux

In that context, the first observable results in Google and AI Overviews appeared within approximately 45–60 days following the development and publication of materials dedicated to this theme.

May 2026 marks the moment when this theme also becomes visible within Mirio’s own ecosystem.

During the following period, the website began publishing materials explicitly dedicated to the relationship between content, generative search, digital authority and AI.

How to Be Cited by AI – Complete Guide: https://www.miriodev.ro/en/cum-sa-fii-citat-de-ai

Why Your Website Is Not Cited by AI: https://www.miriodev.ro/en/post/why-your-website-is-ignored-by-ai

These materials marked the emergence of a distinct editorial theme within Mirio, and the first signals associated with this theme began to appear rapidly.

Screenshot 2026-06-01 at 19.16.55.png

The results observed for Mirio began to become visible in less than 30 days following the publication and development of this editorial theme.

This chronology is relevant because it shows how quickly certain visibility signals can change once an informational theme begins to become clear and recognisable.

FIRST SIGNALS OBSERVED IN GOOGLE AI OVERVIEWS

The first observed appearances for Mirio content are not associated with a single search.

In many cases, an accidental appearance for a single query may represent an isolated event or something difficult to interpret.

In Mirio’s case, the observations are beginning to indicate something different.

Google AI Overviews is starting to associate Mirio content with a recognizable informational theme related to the connection between:

• content;

• AI;

• citability;

• generative search;

• digital authority.

This observation is not limited to a single phrasing.

The first signals are appearing gradually across multiple thematic queries.

Modern Building Facade
Screenshot 2026-06-01 at 19.20.20.png

Queries focused on the relationship between content and AI are beginning to display results in which Mirio is used as an informational source or relevant reference.

Modern Building Facade
Screenshot 2026-06-01 at 19.22.21.png

This observation also continues across searches focused on explaining why certain websites remain difficult for AI systems to use informationally.

Modern Building Facade

Why Your Website Is Not Cited by AI:https://www.miriodev.ro/en/post/why-your-website-is-ignored-by-ai

This material expands on one of the recurring questions increasingly observed in today’s digital environment:

Why certain websites may exist online, may already have SEO implemented, and yet still remain poorly represented within the new AI-driven informational selection mechanisms.

Modern Building Facade
de ce website-ul nu este citat de ai 2.jpg

The observation becomes relevant precisely through repetition. Not through a single isolated appearance.

Modern Building Facade
Screenshot 2026-06-01 at 19.27.30.png

As the strategy becomes more visible, Google begins to associate Mirio not just with an individual page.

But with a recognizable informational direction.

This is the important difference observed during the analyzed period.

A DIGITAL STRATEGY THAT IS BEGINNING TO BE OBSERVED

As the strategy focused on the relationship between AI, generative search, and digital authority continues to evolve, the observations are no longer limited to a single type of query.

Mirio is also beginning to be associated with more specific concepts.

Not because Google officially confirms a causal relationship.

But because certain thematic searches are starting to consistently display sources and explanations connected to the same informational area.

One of these themes is the relationship between:

• SEO;

• GEO;

• AI Trust;

• informational selection;

• generative search.

How to Be Cited by AI – Complete Guide: https://www.miriodev.ro/en/cum-sa-fii-citat-de-ai

This material is becoming one of the central references within the informational theme developed by Mirio.

Modern Building Facade
Screenshot 2026-06-01 at 19.29.15.png

The observations also continue across searches explicitly focused on the relationship between SEO and the new AI mechanisms.

Modern Building Facade
Screenshot 2026-06-01 at 19.30.07.png

This repetition matters. Not because it demonstrates control over a result.

But because it suggests the emergence of thematic recognition.

Modern Building Facade
Screenshot 2026-06-01 at 19.32.37.png

At this stage, the observation begins to move beyond the level of an isolated appearance.

Mirio is no longer associated exclusively with a single page. It is beginning to be associated informationally with a broader theme.

In generative search, relevance does not appear to be built exclusively around an individual URL.

More frequently, observations indicate a relationship between:

• theme;

• informational clarity;

• editorial continuity;

• contextual association.

This should not be interpreted as a universally valid rule.

But it does represent one of the observations emerging from the analyzed period.

DIGITAL AUTHORITY AND AI TRUST – A THEME THAT IS BECOMING VISIBLE

As content continues to explicitly address the relationship between digital authority, informational trust, and AI systems, searches directly associated with these concepts are also beginning to emerge.

Modern Building Facade
Screenshot 2026-06-01 at 19.34.44.png

This observation is relevant.

Because we are no longer discussing only SEO or rankings.

We are discussing how certain themes begin to be informationally associated with specific sources.

Unilux Case Study – SEO, Digital Authority and AI Trust:

https://www.miriodev.ro/en/studiu-de-caz-seo-autoritate-digitala-ai-trust-unilux

This association is becoming observable even around themes that have already been explored within Mirio and validated through real-world projects.

At this stage, the observation becomes more consistent.

Not through traffic volume.

Not through commercial dominance.

But through the fact that Mirio is beginning to be associated with a precise informational theme:

the relationship between content, digital authority, AI Trust, and selection within the new AI-assisted search mechanisms.

A HIGHLY COMPETITIVE DIGITAL MARKETPLACE

The competitive context must be acknowledged.

The digital services sector is one of the most crowded categories online.

SEO, web design, and marketing agencies often benefit from:

• established brand recognition;

• mature editorial ecosystems;

• large volumes of backlinks;

• hundreds of websites mentioning them;

• years of digital consolidation.

This context matters.

Because the results observed for Mirio are not emerging in a competition-free environment.

They are emerging within a highly competitive online landscape.

Modern Building Facade
Screenshot 2026-06-01 at 19.37.55.png

Traditional comparisons based exclusively on Domain Rating or backlink volume can quickly suggest a simple conclusion:

Websites with stronger historical authority should completely dominate the informational landscape.

The observed reality is sometimes more nuanced.

  • Mirio does not operate as a dominant media platform.

  • It does not have the highest Domain Rating within the analyzed category.

  • It does not benefit from the largest ecosystem of linking domains.

And yet, certain signals are beginning to emerge around AI visibility.

This aspect deserves to be analyzed with caution.

Not as a promise. But as an observation.

THE FIRST SIGNS OF AI VISIBILITY

In addition to the appearances observed in Google AI Overviews, certain tools dedicated to monitoring AI Visibility are beginning to indicate Mirio's presence within competitive ecosystems associated with AI-assisted search.

AI Visibility is neither a universal standard nor an official metric provided by Google, OpenAI, or other platforms.

However, it can serve as a useful comparative indicator.

Modern Building Facade
Screenshot 2026-06-01 at 19.40.17.png
Modern Building Facade
Screenshot 2026-06-01 at 19.41.17.png

The observations also continue across the Gemini ecosystem.

Modern Building Facade
Screenshot 2026-06-01 at 19.42.00.png

This observation is relevant not because it demonstrates the dominance of a brand.

But because it suggests that the observed visibility is not limited to a single AI mechanism.

Signals are emerging across multiple ecosystems associated with AI-assisted search.

This does not guarantee universal results.

But it does indicate that the strategy developed within Mirio is beginning to be observable beyond traditional SEO and is becoming increasingly associated with the new AI-driven informational selection mechanisms.

WHAT THIS CASE STUDY DOES NOT DEMONSTRATE

The results observed within Mirio should not be interpreted simplistically.

This case study does not demonstrate:

• the existence of a universal formula;

• the ability to guarantee appearances in AI-generated results;

• control over Google AI Overviews;

• fixed or predictable rules applicable to all websites;

• automatic promises of traffic or conversions.

This point is particularly important because AI systems and informational selection mechanisms continue to evolve.

What works in a specific context does not necessarily represent a permanent rule.

For this reason, caution remains necessary.

This study should not be interpreted as a commercial promise.

But as a documented observation.

WHAT THIS STUDY DOES OBSERVE

Although there are no universal formulas, certain conclusions are worth mentioning.

The first observation: technical foundations matter.

Mirio does not start from a website with technical issues.

The existing website already had:

• functional crawlability;

• a very strong SEO foundation;

• content;

• commercial activity;

• an active blog.

The second observation: online presence is not automatically synonymous with informational relevance.

A website may exist, may have well-implemented SEO, and still remain poorly represented within the new AI mechanisms.

The third observation: informational clarity is becoming increasingly important.

During the analyzed period, Mirio begins to be associated not only with individual pages, but with a recognizable informational domain.

This observation appears:

• in Google AI Overviews;

• in dedicated thematic searches;

• in comparative AI Visibility tools.

Another relevant observation comes from the MyHomeIsYours project, where website structure, information architecture, trust-building elements and user experience were developed as part of a complete website transformation process.

Professional Website Development Case Study – MyHomeIsYours

The fourth observation: the competitive context does not disappear.

Mirio continues to operate within a category dominated by agencies with:

• historical authority;

• larger ecosystems;

• a greater number of linking domains;

• previously established digital consolidation.

This makes the observations even more interesting.

Not because they eliminate competition.

But because they suggest that informational relevance may become an increasingly important component of digital visibility.

FROM A STANDARD WEBSITE TO AN INFORMATIONAL SOURCE

Perhaps the most relevant observation from the analyzed period is not related to rankings. It is related to association.

Mirio is not beginning to be observed exclusively through a single page. It is beginning to be associated with an informational source.

In a digital ecosystem increasingly dominated by generated answers and AI-assisted informational selection, the relationship between:

• website;

• content;

• trust;

• clarity;

• informational identity

appears to be becoming increasingly relevant.

This study does not claim the existence of a formula. But it does document an observed phenomenon.

A relatively recently launched website, built gradually and without dominant infrastructure or media budgets, can begin to be used as an informational source when certain themes become sufficiently clear, consistent, and recognizable.

CONCLUSIONS

MirioDev.ro does not appear in Google AI Overviews as the result of a singular event.

Nor as the exclusive outcome of technical SEO. And not as a consequence of historical brand recognition.

The observed results emerge in the context of a website that is:

• active;

• developed gradually;

• supported by real professional activity;

• continuously connected to digital change;

• engaged in the analysis and development of new themes focused on the relationship between content and emerging AI mechanisms.

This timeline matters. Especially at a time when online search continues to evolve.

The relationship between content, trust, and informational selection is becoming increasingly important.

And for many companies, this shift is only now beginning to become visible.

It is whether websites are prepared for that change.
